Life in the ancient Atlantic Ocean would look somewhat familiar today. However living among the fish, sharks and sea turtles were spectacular sea-going reptiles called mosasaurs and plesiosaurs that dominated the ancient seas as top predators. The abundance and quality of the fossil remains being found in Angola is significantly adding to knowledge of these long-extinct creatures.
